Christopher Columbus described Jamaica as "a land of wood and water." Today it is a land of many beautiful church buildings as well. I pass by this Anglican church every week in St. Elizabeth just outside of Santa Cruz. I'm impressed by the building, but am reminded also that it's just a nice building--the church is the network of relationships, a 'community of light.'
